The Rutgers Postdoctoral Association proudly invites you to attend the 8th Annual Rutgers Postdoc Symposium, co-sponsored by the Public Engagement Project. The Symposium highlights postdoctoral research around Rutgers and offers professional development workshops and networking sessions. This year's workshops feature a variety of academic and alt-ac scholars and educators who will speakabout: Preparing for Jobs Outside Academia; Preparing for Jobs Within Academia; and Polishing Your Communication Style. The afternoon plenary session features a keynote address by Dr. Franklin Carrero-Martinez, Acting Deputy Science and Technology Adviser, U.S. Department of State.
