From Memory to Memoir with Mimi Schwartz We all have memories that keep resurfacing. Some are life-shaping events; others are small moments tied to an object, photograph, sound, or song. How to turn fragments of memory—scattered in notebooks or still in our head—into stories, big or small? Using readings, writing prompts, and discussion, we’ll explore strategies for getting started, finding the right voice. and using scene, setting, and creative revision to produce work others will want to read.
