Please join IRW for “Gathering Ancestors: Spirit Possession, Theory, and Queer Feminist Futures,” the third event in its 2023-2024 Distinguished Lecture Series on the theme of "Possession." Professors Carlos Decena (Rutgers University-New Brunswick) and Solimar Otero (Indiana University-Bloomington) will discuss their work on Afro-Caribbean spirit possession through a queer, feminist lens at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 9th, at 162 Ryders Lane on the Douglass campus. This event is free and open to the public.
